In January 2004, following an $80 million renovation, One&Only Palmilla began a new era as the quintessential embodiment of elegance. The resort is situated on a 250-acre portion of a 900-acre, master-planned community that includes a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course and one of the few swimmable beaches in the destination.
The resort's 172 casually elegant accommodations, all with ocean views, sitting areas and private balconies, feature new decor in muted desert colors and luxury fabrics, with up-to-the-moment amenities such as flat panel TVs with DVD/CD players and Bose surround-sound systems. In December 2006, the One&Only Palmilla Resort in Los Cabos debuts the Sunseeker Manhattan 60 Yacht. The Sunseeker 60 will be available to guests for 6-hour cruises during day and evening hours. The yacht can accommodate parties of up to 8 and is designed for ocean excursions complete with snorkeling, scuba diving and gray whale watching during the peak months of December through March. Each charter includes meals prepared by the onboard chef with a selection of menus for the guests to choose from. In the evening guests aboard the Sunseeker can enjoy sunset dinners. Yacht arrangements can be made through private butlers at One&Only Palmilla. Prices vary according to service and duration.
